One of my worries with having sons is that they would want to play football. We do live in Texas you know. Well even if we never spoke of it, turned it on the TV, or watched a highschool game it seems my youngest baby is destined to play it:(. He is all boy, loves to tackle, pull down, pounce and jump off of stuff. He woke up Saturday morning and pointed outside asking for his ball, went outside and picked up 2 footballs we have. Now we have other balls to play with but he wanted these. He carried it around all morning and even took it with him for a nap and slept with it. This is the second time he has done this in his short life.
I am starting to think as much as I wouldn't want him to play. His God given abilities may lend himself to being a great player. Mama just might have to toughen up and buy him the best helmet and pads available when the time comes. This speech therapist mama will also be completing cogitive testing before and after every season for concussion management.
