Camping Labor Day 2011

Over Labor Day weekend we met our good friends the Rey's from San Antonio at Cleburne State Park south of Fort Worth for one night of camping. It was a lot of fun and not crowded. The boys got to try fishing for the first time with a real pole and hook. There is a small lake there that doesn't allow motor boats. Limited hiking but enough for a nice morning walk with a 2 and 3 year old.

The Rey's let us have a turn in their canoe. This is something on our wish list.

I think he is looking at a worm he put in the water. Just thought it was a sweet pic of my thoughtfull little guy.

I love this pic of all three kids. Lucas had a great time playing with Lucia and Turner. He followed Turner around the whole time! Most state parks have great play grounds which makes them even better for our kids age.

Family pic by our tent. We bought an airmattress but forgot the plug so ended up on the ground anyway. Rough night.

First experience with worms for bait. They were quite intriguing for two little boys.

First chane to fish with a real pole. Didn't catch anything but they liked the idea for a little while.
