Kelli and Brad had a great idea back in the Summer to go visit family and ski this Winter. Well I had doubts it would happen but we made it to Keystone, Colorado! We rented this wonderful 12 pasenger van, loaded 4 kids ages 4 to 6 month into car seats, and drove 16 hours or so to Colorado!
We stayed in a great townhome in the mountains. This was the view from the deck.
All four sweet cousins dressed for bed.
The kids loved watching the Disney Classis Small One about the Donkey that carried Mary to Bethlehem. Anna wanted to watch it over and over. She loved it.
Snow Angels! This is the first time my boys saw or played in snow. Lucas loved it. Unfortunately Marcus got sick and didn't get to enjoy the snow as much.
Marcus' snow angel.
Anna's snow angel. She wasn't a fan of the cold either. She was under the weather too :(
Me and my boys!
Brad, Giam, my Aunt Monica and I spent one day skiing together and they skiied a few days without Monica and I. The mountains were beautiful. Even though I hadn't been in over 12 years it came back pretty quick at least for the green level mountains.
Me on the mountain.
Giam on the mountain.
I wanted a kissing picture like I've seen with other couples. Came out pretty well;)
Uncle Brad was an advanced skiier he took on the blues the first day.
GiGi and the kids around the Keyston resort.
Aunt Kelli and Haven aka. Babushka.
We debated about signing Lucas up for ski school but held off. He immediately jumped on Uncle Brad's ski's when he got a chance. I'd say he is ready next time!
The Gondola ride.
At the top of the mountain an awesome ice castle.
We spent one night at my Uncle Harry and Aunt Ann's house in Loveland on the way up and they came up to Keystone one day. It was great to see them and my Cousin Shea also. We had a fun time sledding. My Colorado family helped us find a great sledding hill just walking around the neighborhood. I felt like a local! Lucas loved it.
