Marcus turned 3!

My baby is officially 3!  His birthday was on a Thursday this year so we celebrated with family on his real birthday and had a party with family and friends from school the following Saturday. 

 Thursday morning he got to open one present.  He begged us for a blue robotic spider from Target a few days before so I thought it would be a great birthday gift.

 Then we headed to I-Hop for some birthday pancakes with GiGi, Aunt Kelli, Anna, and Have.

 GiGi gave him her gift a new electric Thomas Train.

 Later on he got open some more family gifts.

 An Iron Man robot and a new motorcycle.

 Giam was out of town but Tortilla came to help us celebrate and brought him these cool Hulk gloves.  He already thinks he's a boxer now he has the gloves for it.

 He got a yummy cupcake Thursday night after a pizza dinner out.  I have to say Lucas had a few minutes of jealousy when Marcus got his new toys but overall he did great celebrating Marcus and letting him play with things first.

 Saturday's party!  We rented a pre-school size bounce house with water slide which was perfect and had a few football themed decorations.

 4 little friends from his class at school came plus Diego, Juan, Anna, and Haven it was a perfect turn out.

 Hot dogs, chips, and fruit were on the menu.

 I made some cupcakes and put little footballs on top.

 Goody bags with candy, noisemakers, and plastic circle straws.

 We opened presents after every one left.  He got some fun new toys.

 For the first time ever Marcus put himself down for a nap he was so pooped!  About 2:00 or so he said "Ok I'm going to rest" and he was out.

3 year stats: weight 33 pounds 10m ounces 69%, Height: 38 3/4 inches 79%.

Marcus at three you are a happy boy who loves his brother and sleeping with his "puppy".  You love to push cars around and generally have something in your hand like a comb or stick you are pretending to fly or shoot with.  You love to pretend things are guns and shoot at "bad guys".  You are generous with hugs and kisses.  You say "thank you" easily and often.  I love that you say "nuggle me slow" (snuggle me a long time) when it is time to go to bed.  Marcus we are so thankful and blessed that you came to be part of our family 3 years ago.  We love you so!
