A little wrap up of fun before the new addition.

Here are some pictures of what the boys have been up to the past few weeks.  They were introduced to I-PADS at the library.  I can see how these could be very DANGEROUS for kids (or adults).  They are very cool!  The touch screen and images are great but they really suck you in.  They boys caught on quick.  Great learning tools but you would really have to set some limits on use.  We don't have one so nothing to worry about (yet).

We got them some little tennis rackets and took them to some courts in the neighborhood.  One good thing about older neighborhoods is the parks have a lot more space and neat older amenities like city tennis courts.  They had a blast.  I was pretty pregnant and running after the balls wasn't too fun.  Giam did most of the coaching.  Hopefully we can wheel the baby down in the stroller and do a little volleying in April before it gets too hot.  Maybe the pro in the family Aunt Kelli will even come out and give them a few pointers ;)

I love Groupon for cheap kids activities.  I bought a kids cooking class Groupon and wanted to use it before #3 is here.  The boys love to help me cook in our kitchen but it is fun to go somewhere and let them do it by themselves with a teacher.  They get to measure, count, and even chop some stuff.  The day we were there they made purple pancakes and homemade syrup.  The boys ate them up!

I get a little pride out of watching there behavior in a class like this.  They were very good listeners, not disruptive, and tried to participate.  Not all of the kids behaved this way.  Makes me think we are doing a little something right!
Cousin Diego turned 5 March 5!  We got to celebrate with him at an awesome trampoline park in Plano.  I wasn't able to get a lot of good pictures but here are a few.  The kids loved swinging into this big pit of foam blocks.

Sweet Diego blowing out his candles.
All the boys at the party.  They are so cute together!
One more time singing Happy Birthday at Diego's house so he could make his special wish.  The boys had so much fun playing together they love visiting their Primo!
Lucas wanted to do soccer again.  Marcus did not.  He has his heart set on baseball (T-ball) later this Spring.  Lucas is on a new team called the Shamrocks.  He is really enjoying himself and going after the ball every chance he gets.  He is excited to have a goalie this year.  It has been wonderful to watch Lucas evolve from a a little 3 year old we had to bribe with a helicopter to stay on the field to a 5 year old who looks forward to practice and his games.  So far we have made the boys finish the soccer season even when they didn't want to but we always ask them and let decide if they want to play again.  So far this has worked.  He has a big grin on his face as he is playing.  I love watching him!
