July Birthdays!

The weekend of July 20-22 we went to Marble Falls to celebrate 2 family birthdays.  

One new one, and one old.  Jeri Anne was born July 17, 2012 and her daddy "Uncle Michael" was born July 27, 1981. 

 Jeri is as sweet as they come sleeping a lot but also opening her little eyes for all to see. 

 Michael and Helen are the proud and generous parents who let everyone hold Jeri and "ooo and ah" over her only a few days after she came into this world.

 We stayed at a house on the river in Marble Falls close to Michael and Helen.  No lake access but the kids had a great time in the swim hot tub.  Even Grandpa Gene made it down and brought some ice cream for his older grand kids.

 We haven't been able to celebrate a birthday with Michael in years because he is usually in South Dakota.  Although we were a few days early it was fun to get him a cake and spend time with him close to his special day.  Kelli had a great idea to go around the table sharing a trait Michael has that will make him a good father and linking a story to it if possible.  We all agreed Michael is great with kids because he gives them his full attention, is patient with them, and knows how to enjoy them.  He is also be a good protector.  All of these qualities and more make him an awesome father.

 The next day we stopped at Michael and Helen's house on the way out and I finally got some cousin pictures.
