Although Lucas continues to go to Hilltop Montessori 2 days a week he had a graduation ceremony because this is his last year. Kind of a Pre-k graduation. On May 23, 2013 Gigi and I went to his ceremony. Daddy was in Florida :( Lucas was very proud. He had been singing parts of graduation songs around the house for the past couple of weeks and had told me they practiced them at school.
Lucas with his sweet teacher Ms. Sharmon. She was a blessing for Lucas and this mother's heart. Lucas always used to cry when I dropped him off at school. By the time he was 3 he had been to three different schools. Change was hard for him and I felt guilty for dropping him off to go to work. Well the first few weeks in her class about 2 years ago Ms. Sharmon would always hold and comfort Lucas as I left. Over the two years Lucas became used to going to school, thrived having the same teacher over that time, and now says he likes going to school. Music to my ears.

Little brother thought big brother was pretty cool. It will be Marcus' turn in one year.
I made Lucas a brownie graduation cake. We enjoyed after the ceremony.
Thomas was there but I didn't get any pictures. He slept most of the time.
On to kindergarten next year! That has a whole new set of worries but at least it will be a whole lot cheaper!
