8/18/13 My baby turned 5 months! No stats till his 6 month check up. He is still an easy going, happy, sweet boy. Only cries when he is tired. Look how big he is getting!
Around 5 months he found his feet and sometimes puts them in his mouth instead of his thumb.
I'm a rebel mom and around 5 months and 1 week I gave him his first bite of cereal (3 weeks prior to the recommended 6 month start date). He just seemed hungry and very interested in food. It ended up being just a taste and nothing routine because he really couldn't cup his tongue around the food and transfer it back to swallow it. Most of it just spilled out of his mouth.
He did really love the spoon and biting on it.
Occasionally he will gag on the spoon, dislike.
One sad feeding fact is that I had to start supplementing breastfeeding with formula at around 5 months. The milk I had pumped was gone used on the days I was at work and my milk supply dropped because I can't pump every 3 hours at work and he sleeps through the night so well. He is still a happy boy.
He started doing this thing we call "airplane" lifting his arms and legs off the floor during tummy time. He also started sticking his tongue out. He's got some Kutach genes in him.
He has become much more active moving his arms and legs when sitting up.
How precious! My 3 sons =)
They have lots of love between them
Thomas is also doing the tripod sit on his way to fully sitting up.
No teeth yet but definitely needs a bib for all his drool.
xxxooo my baby!
