At the end of March we took Thomas with us to check out Florida and look for a house. It was his first plane trip. He did very well.
In April 2014 Baby Thomas got his first hair cut. He really didn't have much hair but the back was getting long and getting caught in his bib. He did great, sat still, no crying. Precious boy!
Grandpa Gene also came for a visit in April. This spring brought unexpected changes for most of our family. Grandpa Gene decided to sell his house in Victoria, Tx, Kelli and Brad sold their house in Fort Worth and planned to move to Austin, and of course we set out to move to Florida. We were happy to have a little get together with Grandpa Gene and the Bruce's before all the transitions. Here he is with most of his grand kids.
Grandpa Gene and his daughters and grand kids. Michael and Jeri Anne were in our hearts. Who knows when we will get together again.
Feeble attempt at bluebonnet pictures in Texas. I couldn't find many around Fort Worth and we didn't have time to drive to central Texas. The pictures with the boys are still precious though.
Night before Mother's day 2014.
Marcus' pre-k graduation. I feel blessed to have found good schools/day cares for part time care since I've had children. I have to say Bright Horizons where Marcus and Thomas went this past year was wonderful. Marcus' teacher Mrs. Liz was so sweet and really loved Marcus. The graduation was precious they sang a song and gave out diplomas. He only went 2 days a week but really learned a lot. He still says things about "my old school in Texas".
Getting his diploma.
Marcus was really happy that Giam and I both were able to be there and it was time just with him. The school had a lunch after the ceremony. I was able to leave work and walk right over.
Marcus with Ms. Shabodi
Marcus and Mrs. Liz. They made a sweet photo book for Marcus showing him each month he was there because they knew he was moving away.
