Once we were settled we made it a priority to try and find a home church. The first one we went to offered a vacation bible school. It started the week after Gigi left. It was a great activity for them. They had fun everyday learning more about the word. Parents got to join in the last day and these are the only pictures I took during praise time and on the water slide. This church did not become our home church but it was a blessing to us for the summer.
We spent July 4th at a local park that had free fireworks, games, ride for kids, and food trucks. Many of the communities host celebrations. This is nice because you don't have to drive down town like some cities.
Lucas with his ear protection :)
Brother love
Daddy and his boys watching Saturday morning cartoons.
Love this how they are all holding it up. I'm not a fan of corn but it is one thing all the boys will eat. Thomas is my pickiest eater yet but he loves corn. He also wants to do everything like his brothers. He won't eat corn I cut off the cob or apple pieces but he will eat corn on the cob and take bites out of a whole apple.
We are finally in a neighborhood with sidewalks. Because it is an old neighborhood. I really enjoy taking bike rides with the boys around the lake in the neighborhood.
The third child doesn't get many special planned special educational activities so I was proud of myself for offering him a scooping activity. Kept him entertained for 2 minutes.
Marcus got into my phone and took a few selfies.
This is how we end most nights sitting upstairs watching a show before bed. My loves.
Before school started I had a special day which Marcus and then Lucas where we went to breakfast then school supply shopping.
Mommy and Marcus
Mommy and Lucas. Can't believe two of my boys are headed off to real school in kindergarten and first grade.
Giam's boss gave him tickets to a place called Jungle Island. Its like a miniaturize zoo. It was a fun day and one of our few trips to Miami.
Just a few pool pictures on one of the nice days. Giam and I have both said to each other a couple of times I can't believe this is our back yard. We never really imagined we would have a pool. It is really fun to jump into a pool in your own backyard on a hot day. We love watching the boys play games, have fun swimming, and make memories.
Thomas loves balls. Here he is playing ball with daddy in the water.
