Happy Halloween 2012!

The boys and I did some "old school" pumpkin carving a few days before Halloween.  They look like they are helping but were pretty grossed out by the seeds and gooey strings you have to remove from the inside of the pumpkin. Left it all to old mom.

 By "old school" I mean no fancy patterns or special tools.  Just a knife to make some triangle eyes on our pumpkins.

 Lucas was Thor and Marcus was Iron Man.  Here are some pictures of them with Anna as Wilbur and Haven as Charlotte at a neighborhood churches fall festival/trunk or treat.

 We also trick or treated down our neighborhood street.  It was fun for them to be out after dark.  i think Halloween is such a fun tradition and lets you feel part of a community.  Which is hard to come by.  On to the rest of the holidays!
