Christmas 2012

Here is a combination of pictures from my camera and I-Phone all mixed up. Pay attention to the captions because the pictures are a little out of order.  Giam worked a 1/2 day on Christmas eve and we spent that evening at Tia Laura's.  Christmas day was at our house with Gigi and Uncle Michael's family.

The boys got to open presents from our good friend's The Rey's on Christmas Eve morning they were so excited because those presents had been under the tree for weeks.

We also let them open one present from us.  Crayola Light sketchers.  Marcus is very into making funny faces these days.

Christmas Eve night at Diego's and Juan's.  Here's all the silly boys.
Marcus checking out his toy gun.  He is all boy!
Lucas and Diego doing a Leap Frog game.

Laura and me.  She made a delicious dinner with crown roast and butterscotch bread pudding!  YUM!

A rare picture of Giam and me.
 All the boys.
After dinner the boys tore into their gifts.

Tortia came for the fun too.  Marcus making a funny face.

Christmas morning at our house.  The boys slept till their normal time about 7:30.  We all got up and I read the Christmas story from Luke 2:1-20.  We had been doing a daily advent calendar and getting little pieces of the story leading up to Christmas but on the 25th it was nice to hear the whole story.  Our pastor had mentioned it was a tradition in his family to read the story before gifts Christmas Day and I decided to adopt it.  We also enjoyed a Monkey Bread birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.  Sorry no pictures just memories in our minds.

The boys got airplanes, a K'nex set for Lucas and a new Scooter for Marcus from Santa!
Gigi came over first and they opened the mini air hockey table from her.

Amazingly it snowed Christmas Day!  Here is Marcus the first to venture out.

Later Uncle Michael, Helen, and Jeri Anne came over for brunch and presents.

Here is Jeri Anne opening our gift to her.  She was a beautiful Christmas Baby!  So cute with here ears pierced.

This was her gift hopefully she can use it a long time as she grows.
 Our house with snow!
 Cousins!
The boys were very sweet with Jeri Anne good practice for a couple of months from now.

Out of order.  A few weeks before Christmas we went to the Polar Express PJ party at the Fort Worth Children's Museum.  Here are the boys making "snow".
A cute pic of my little "elves" at Aunt Kelli's PJ party.
Gigi went to see the Polar Express with us.

The Bruce's came to Polar Express also.  Cousins in Christmas PJ's minus Jeri Anne.

 At the movie.

We did make some Christmas cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve while daddy was at work.
My boys take after me wanting the dough more than the cookie.

Funny face from Marcus and "lovely" decorated cookies below.

This is what was left on Christmas morning after Santa ate his cookies, drank his milk, and fed the reindeer carrots.
More snow pics.

My daredevil.  Even though it was cold boys need to go outside to play everyday.  We went over to the school and there went Marcus taking his balance bike up a little snowy hill and traveling down.  He didn't even fall!

Expert scooter riders.  Lucas is an old pro.
Marcus trying out his new ride.  Luckily he had a lot of practice on his brother's.
Christmas was a busy time.  I am thankful for time spent with our family.  I hope the boys will hold good memories of this special time of year with them for many years.
